Tomorrow's Christmas Eve and it's pretty exciting! I'm just looking forward to relaxing with family and enjoying the last few days of 2009.

We close on our home next Wednesday and I can't wait. This process has really not been long at all and things worked out pretty smoothly. I didn't even see a in our short term future 3 months ago, so it's amazing how things work out. I'm such a numbers person, lol. I sit and crunch numbers everyday preparing for the worst and always ensuring we have a back up plan. Perhaps I should just relax.

I'm hoping that having a home will change my life for the better. I can honestly say that I hate apartment living. The idea of making a home my own and owning the house and property is so awesome! I'm looking forward to doing my homework on the deck in the back yard and feeling content with just staying home instead of always trying to find a way to leave the apt. Living closer to work, friends and family is also a perk!
